::A Little About Me::

I began cosplay modeling to break into something new and something unique. I bring a lot to the table idea wise and almost always have more turning up over nite. I am dedicated to modeling something different to show case my artistic nature, just putting me in jeans and tops would make me vomit. Coming from a very creative background I have warped my modeling with costumes into bringing to life what I normally would have drawn back in high school, I needed to step up how I expressed myself, and cosplay modeling was perfect for that!

Cosplay modeling isn't the only thing I do with my time though. Currently I am a working student for Graphic Design as well as trying my best to launch my very first commissioning business for cyber falls. Between the business, projects and my small part time job I find time to sew and create the props needed for my cosplays. I have never put cosplay before anything else in my life, though recently because it is becoming more and more of a carreer step for me I have been focusing all my free time into it. Not only have the costumes gained me a sort of popularity among other cosplayers but they have landed me on two MTV shows, an HBO series, varies articles in newspapers and magazines and most recently a CD cover that was released nation wide! I strive to put out the best work I can, and even though I am well aware my sewing skills are not as great as some others I still enjoy what I complete. I never have and never will claim to be the best at what I do, I get my cosplays done, they stay together and they, for the most part, look good on me- that's all I aim for. I used to struggle on craftsmanship all the time, and I used to strive to win those types of awards at the conventions but now my focus is just to please. If others see the cosplays and enjoy them that is all I look forward to. I also used to love to preform at the conventions on stage, those days have faded for me as well. I would rather spend the time at the conventions to see old and new friends, to do photo shoots and just have fun. I have proven myself enough that I don't need the merit of awards from competing and that's what I believe others should think as well. Cosplay should never be about who has the best seams or who can style wigs the best, for me it is about getting the chance to become something new and just have fun with it.

I live a pretty normal life outside of modeling though. I live day to day doing what any other normal college student would. I'm close with my family and friends and visit them often to hang out and eat good meals. I'm into a lot of things that others are as well. You wouldn't know it by looking at me but my tastes in clothing and music range widely and I like it this way. I was "gothic" in high school, despite that though I still new everyone and we were all good friends. Over the years though and while I spent time out in LA for college I realized that it wasn't me to fit a stereotype. My dress began to calm down and gear towards a more urban style, my music tastes varied greatly and I wasn't stuck around the genre that ORGY/Dir en Grey fit into. I listen to everything from hip hop and rock to pop and drum and bass. I've had a lot of people raise eye brows at my iPod and I enjoy getting that reaction! I'm a very down to earth girl when you boil me down. I'm simple in my wants and needs for the most part though to some those "simple" things, like wigs and fabrics, might seem strange. Despite the nasty little things people try spreading about me I'm very kind and easily happy, I enjoy the company of others greatly and always like to have good people around me. At cons and outside them I just enjoy hanging out and being goofy. The people I have met along the path of cosplay are wonderful and I can only hope that as we grow we stick together.

That's all I can think of to say at the moment, there are always interviews with me around on varies cosplaying websites, just take a look around if you want to know more about that part of my life. But until I feel like updating this... enjoy!

::FAQ::

What is your real name?
I don't like to go by my real name, so unless you are a close trustworthy friend or I am dealing with you on a business level I will not tell you my real name.

Why do you always cosplay as Rikku?
She just happens to be the only character I sort of look like, plus she's uber cute! And I love her style.

Will you add a link to my site?
If we do a link exchange.

Can I use ___________ image/slash/art work on my site or for any other work?
No, not unles you ask and show me exactly where you'll be using it.

Can you help me with my cosplay?
I'm sorry, I'm too busy to help people with their costumes right now.

Are you a bitch in person?
*facepalm* The only reason I can see for people thinking this is because they try to get my attention at conventions. I'm usually very busy at cons and TIRED too, you'd have to come up to me and grab me to get my attention, after which I'm always more than happy to stop and chat!

Can you join my cosplay group or my web site?
I would love to join everyone in cosplay groups or on-line RPs and the like... but I really do not have the time to commit to any one else's work.

Will you be my girlfriend???????/
*coughs* >_> Sorry not looking for a boyfriend right now.

Will you be going to _________ convention?
Due to my just moving back from CA my money is really tight right now, any conventions I go to will be planned around my time, if I make it then great, if not... wait till next year?

Would you be able to make ___________ costume for me?
I do NOT take commissions on cosplay! I've been getting increasing e-mails asking if I can make costumes for people and while I'd love some extra income my time is not great enough to take on projects for other people.

Are you really a man?
Yeah I get asked this a lot... I'm female. Apparently these days if you don't have a double D chest size people every where like to ask this. Wow, so original huh?

How do you stay SO thin?!
No joke, I seriously make a huge effort to go to the gym every day for at least an hour! This is something new for me, I normally have a very fast metabolism but no matter how fast when you grow older it slows down. I work out and watch what I eat, trying my best to stay away from fast food or any foods with high sodium.

What got you into Zentai?
Zentai was something I stumbled upon myself and decided to use with my cosplays. As far as I know I am the first and ONLY cosplayer that uses zentai suites for ALL her cosplays- not just ones that were designed that way. I like all the fields they are used for, along with the very mysterious futuristic feel they give to my photos.

Do you post on 4chan or Cosplayfucks?
I do NOT post on either of these sites, or related forums, ljs or groups. If you see postings from 'yuffiebunny' on either of these sites it is people posing as me, and this is all I will say on the subject.

Where did all your J-rock slash go?
I had to clear off room to keep the site more focused on cosplay and modeling. I'm upset I took it down and I'm hoping to find some place other than LiveJournal to post it! I'll let everyone know when I do find some place!
