Leeloo from The Fifth Element
Completed: 100%
Cost: ~$115
Hours to Make: 10
First worn at: Garden State Comic Fest 2016
Inspiration: Ever since the first time I saw this movie I wanted to cosplay this look of Leeloo's. It's just so much fun, and for once, it's a costume that is comfortable and easy to wear for long periods of time. I was always worried about making this though because I knew the suspenders should be silicone and since I'd never made anything silicone before I always kinda pushed her to the back of my cosplay list. Instead of freaking out about working with a brand new material though I asked my friend Tony at Anatomy FX to make these for me. (Psst, he's got these for sale too!) Other than that this cosplay was pretty easy. I made the top and leggings from scratch. I already owned the boots. And I already owned the wig. I used Ruffle Butt's tutorial on how to style the wig, and BAM! I was ready to go kick evil intergalactic butt!
