Welcome to my first blog post! I haven't really had a blog since the LiveJournal days, and we all know the various social sites out there only allow you to say so much. If I have a shoot or cosplay go live and there's something more than the basics I'd like to share with you all it'll be said here. I'm doing this so I can keep my modeling and cosplay "galleries" just as they are, quick, easy, eye candy. And there's not always something more I'd like to add past what I already say. So yes, yay for blogs!
My first blog post is about a shoot I did with Don Sipley a while ago. It was for a book called Angel's Ink, part of the The Asylum Tales by Jocelynn Drake. When we did the shoot there was a very specific look we were asked to capture, so the shoot itself was easy going and quick. Normally Don sends me edits once they're finished but this one I had to wait to see until the book was released. Of course I bought up a copy during the pre-sale. I love having physical copies of anything my image is published in, it'll be a really cool thing to look back on when I'm older, and besides, I love reading! I'm a big fan of fantasy and was excited to dive into this book once I got it. I had heard good things about Jocelynn Drake before and everyone assured me I would enjoy the book thoroughly.
That I did! A great mix of drama, fantasy, magic, action and romance. Plus a nice steamy scene between two of the main characters didn't hurt. It was cool to see such a reversal of certain things in this book too. What most write about in a fairly positive light she penned in an intriguingly dark manner. This book is part of a series and while it fell in the midst of a lot of action there was enough back story told that I wasn't lost and it stood nicely on its own. Now I'm excited to pick up the rest of the series to see in detail what happened before and after my book. If you're into fantasy and all that comes with it you should really check out the series.
Small unprofessional book review over, I wanted to show you guys my cover, before and after text. I don't believe I posted the cover sans text any where else before, so it's exciting to be able to finally share it with you guys! Oddly enough I've always wanted some kind of wings tattooed on my back. So it's really neat to see what it might be like! What do you all think, should I get some wings?

I think this will wrap up my first post. I've never really done a book review before, and it's been ages since I've written something longer than a paragraph or a tweet, lol! But I hope you guys enjoyed this and that you check out Don and Jocelynn's work.
These posts will be very random and scattered time wise. But I'll certainly let you all know when I have a new one up. Thanks for reading!
