In honor of Sailor Moon...

In honor of the release of the new Sailor Moon Crystal anime today I uploaded a new photo of my Sailor Jupiter cosplay to my Facebook page. This photo and more can be found in the fanboy issue of NUMiNOUS Magazine.

My love for Sailor Moon goes super deep, and way back. Back to before I knew anything about cosplay, or conventions. Every month when the new translation of the manga came in I would be at my local comic book shop buying it up and would spend hours between reading it, figuring out how the internet works to look up photos and more information on the series and chatting with other fans in the Sailor Moon Universe chat room (OMG who remembers that site?!?!) I'd wake up super early before school to watch the anime on TV, and I met one of my best friends in middle school thanks to Sailor Moon.

So needless to say, all of the excitement recently with VIZ redubbing/resubbing the old 90's anime and the brand new remake of the entire anime series has had me feeling like I'm 12 all over again.

It's so great to see a series that meant so much to me get a modern update and rer-elease. Now fans of the series who have been with it since the beginning can enjoy it all over again. And even better, others can see it for the first time and surely fall in love with it the same way so many others have.
